Pretty easy, slow day at work today. It was good to get some more time to play around on the demo new system, and fire off a few more help questions to our internal help staff.
I got everything ready to go for Monday, to best of my ability, and I'm really looking forward to Monday, for once. I feel like I'm ready, and I'm hoping the rest of the staff at my shop is too. I'm curious to see how we're all going to handle this new system at work on Monday.
Lately at work, I've given in, to having a bad attitude about a lot of different things, and people. I've decided I don't want to do that. I know it's not always possible to have a good opinion of people, but as my mom always taught us growing up, "look for the good things, instead of pointing out the bad"....my mom sure was, and still is, a very wise woman.
It's easy to point out the bad in people. It's easy to find things that bother, or annoy you and then hold that against them. It's a lot harder to look for things you like about people, and then encourage and build them up continually....but lately, more and more, I'm feeling like that is what I need to be doing (again) at work especially....but at home too.
I'm still pushing that thought... Say the good things.
