Up early. Not too early though. Martyn made it until about 4 or so, and Eli went and brought him to bed. He let us sleep until about 6, and then wake up slowly until about 6:40. He woke up pretty happy, like he always does.
He's been super mama clingy lately, so he only wanted to be with me this morning. Which was pretty much okay with me. He got down on the floor pretty quickly though, and was just on the go go go.
We went to breakfast at Skyline, and Martyn was pretty much content to play in the booth and be a good boy. He fell asleep on the 8 minute drive home, and slept for an hour and half in the car seat.
After he woke up and played for a bit, I packed him back up in the car seat and headed over to get his 9 month pictures done with Grandma. It was pretty fun. Babies are tough customers, especially when they are clingy to their mamas. Luckily, my child is a total ham and flirt, and did a good job. We got some pretty cute pictures. It will be nice to hang some on the wall once we get them.
I went to the Barn with MJ afterwards, and visited for a few minutes before heading back home. Poor Martyn didn't get really good naps today, so he was kind of cranky this evening. Man, I'm beat! I want it to be my full time job to take care of him right now, but on the days I have him, it just drains me completely. I know part of that is because I'm tired from working during the week and on the weekends there's still no rest. Not no rest entirely, but less than I think I need sometimes.
Oh well. It was a good Saturday over all.
