Day 257...Success!

Martyn went to bed in the crib in the living room last night, woke up about midnight and came back to bed with us for about an hour, went back down in the crib, woke up around 3:45 or so, I nursed him down in the rocking chair and put him back in the crib, and finished the night out in the crib! I was so excited to sleep until the alarm went off at 5 with out him in the bed!

That was a great way to start the day off. Still feeling good about work too. I think just the simple act of deciding to have a better attitude about the whole thing, has really helped, too.

I love picking him up from the baby sitter's after work. He's always so happy to see me. Although yesterday, his teeth coming in were really bugging him and he was crying and carrying on when I got there. She said he had been like that for the last ten minutes before I got there. Poor boy. Normally though, he gets to play hard with her kids all day, and is either asleep or super happy when I get there.

Sometimes when I look at him, with that mouth full of teeth, and long hair on top, he just looks so foreign to me. He still looks like my sweet baby, but he's starting to look more and more like a little boy and it kind of freaks me out sometimes. Still though, it's pretty awesome to see how he changes from week to week it seems....sometimes from day to day.
